With constant exposure to the elements, this private backyard of a classic townhouse on the Upper West Side was renovated with materials that were carefully selected to withstand the harsh NYC winters. Our goal was to provide maximum durability, while equally preserving the clean lines and cohesive pallet that compliment the townhouse and neighboring buildings. The slatted epi wood fencing, trellis and aluminum columns offer the perfect balance of natural light and shade where the owners can enjoy their privacy. The total renovation included exterior lighting, paving stones, artificial grass and a patio door leading to the durable steel stairs.
